Michael Ang, Founder/CEO
With over 20 years of experience in recruitment advertising, Michael has become a recognized national leader in the recruitment advertising space. After entering the field in 1994 as a graphic designer, he founded JobElephant six years later in 2000, out of his garage. Under his leadership, JobElephant has succeeded to become one of the most reliable and successful agencies in recruitment advertising. Outstanding service is the focal point of the success of JobElephant and Michael personally manages several hundred accounts, many of which have been valuable clients for more than 10 years. A northern California native, Michael is a loyal San Francisco Giants fan. Outside of baseball season, Michael enjoys skiing, cycling, indie rock, and spending time with his family in beautiful San Diego.
Andy Boom, Director of Business Development
Andy has extensive account management and development expertise while overseeing a variety of clients throughout his career in the recruitment, online marketing and shipping industries. Andy brings 10+ years of small business ownership experience to JobElephant, which uniquely positions him to understand the importance of trust and integrity in building and maintaining solid client relationships. Andy manages hundreds of JobElephant accounts, from rural liberal arts schools to large, multi-campus institutions with dozens of hiring managers. Andy is married and father of twins; a boy and a girl. Away from the office Andy loves to travel, cook and is an avid baseball fan (Go Giants!).
Leticia G. Iosifidis, Accounts Receivable/Human Resources
Having joined JobElephant in 2014, Leticia is responsible for managing incoming payments and collections and ensuring client accounts are up to date. She is also responsible for overseeing the daily human resources operations. Prior to joining JobElephant, Leticia managed her family’s furniture business in Mexico for 11 years and was responsible for purchasing, sales, accounting and human resources. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Marketing from ITESM (Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education). In her free time, Leticia enjoys taking her son to theme parks, cooking greek food, watching period films and spending time with friends and family.
Christina Towler, Operations Manager
Christina is a southern California native and a graduate of UC San Diego. Her career with JobElephant began during college and blossomed ever since. She enjoys rock climbing and spending time outdoors hiking with her family. When she’s not outside, she loves spending time in the kitchen baking treats.
John Hostetler, Controller
John joined JobElephant in 2021 and brings 25+ years of accounting/finance experience in many industries — E-commerce, real estate investment, staffing, publishing, and agriculture. John appreciates working with a motivated, talented, and principled team of professionals, and is happy to have found exactly that at JobElephant! John is happily married with two kids away in college, and is obsessed with pickleball, playing at the 5.0 / Sr. Pro level.
Darla Needham, Accounts Payable / Senior Advertising Representative
During her 20+ year career in recruitment advertising, Darla has developed extensive media buying, account management and client service expertise while managing a variety of national clients in the education, aerospace, biotech, retail, health care, hospitality and hi-tech industries, including AM/ PM, Jenny Craig, Cricket, Goodrich Aerostructures and General Dynamics NASSCO, to name a few. In this capacity, she developed and executed comprehensive media strategies with annual recruitment advertising budgets in the millions. Darla is married with two children. She spent six years in the U.S. Navy as an Electronics Technician. She is very active in her community and has spent the last 20 years on various executive boards at the youth and high school level.
Stefan Andersen, Business Development/Sales
Stefan joined JobElephant in 2020 and brings 20+ years of sales and account management experience to the agency. He has covered and worked in a variety of industries and verticals with most recent experience being in Higher Ed. Stefan lives by the following mantras, Do right by the Customer and the Customer is always Right. Stefan is a native of New York but has been in Virginia since 1994 and he and his wife now consider Arlington, VA home. Outside of the office, you will find Stefan on the golf course. He also enjoys traveling and exploring new areas of the world, attending sporting events and is a proud fan and supporter of the Washington Capitals – Go Caps!
Andrea Molyneux, Business Development/Sales
Andrea joined JobElephant in 2021 and brings over 20+ years of knowledge and experience in education, sale and management. Working closely with her clients, she consistently delivers the outcomes and expectations for those who choose JobElephant for their recruitment advertising needs. Andrea enjoys exploring new places, volunteers at the Humane Society in small animal education and loves tending to her organic vegetables garden.
Susan Ganley, Business Development/Sales
Susan is no stranger to the recruitment landscape in higher education having worked at an academic-focused recruitment advertising agency and The Chronicle of Higher Education for a combined 27 years. Her media knowledge has helped clients in higher education, healthcare, government and at executive search firms find top talent. It’s all about trust and relationship building for her. She is a recent convert to pickleball, enjoys birding and traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
Christian Smith, Art Director
Christian began his career in advertising in 1996 as a photo retoucher and graphic designer for Gannet Publishing/Newspapers. Over his 20+ year career he has developed a unique skill set that spans multiple disciplines for a diverse range of clients. From International clients such as Virgin and ConocoPhillips to behavioral health and biotech clients he has developed branding, art direction and implemented scalable high volume production for print, web and social media solutions. He is an eclectic audiophile, an avid surfer, stand up paddle boarder, and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Jessica White, Customer Service Specialist
Jessica is a California-born, Texas-raised young professional specializing in customer-focused industries. Following joining JobElephant in early 2019, she has since grown within the company and enjoys assisting clients to the best of her abilities. Her personal interests include writing as well as cooking/baking for friends and loved ones.
Trista Nicholson, Customer Service Specialist
Trista is a California native living in Mississippi. After joining the team in 2021, she has grown within the company and is currently a part of our customer service team. Outside of work she enjoys reading, walking her dogs, and spending time with family.
Peter White, Business Analyst
Having joined the JobElephant team in 2017, Peter has made it his goal to get involved with many of the various moving parts of the JobElephant system. With a passion and penchant for analyzing trends in data, he works to meet all of JobElephant’s analytics needs, from reporting to data cleaning and everything in between. Outside of work, Peter enjoys all things art, and has a particular passion for photography.
Customer Service Specialist
Lauren was born in Northern California and grew up in Austin, TX. Lauren graduated from UC Davis with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and joined the JobElephant team in 2021. In her free time she likes to hang out with her dog, bake, and play tennis.

The Production Department is the engine room of JobElephant. The day to day process of posting hundreds of ads per hour with speed, accuracy and efficiency is handled with precision by this unique group of talented individuals.
