We seek the following talented individual: Govt. Reimbursement Analyst UC Davis Health System, Compliance Unit, located in Sacramento, CA is seeking Reimbursement Analyst to provide major support and assistance with the preparation of the Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Champus Cost Reports. This will include data collection and analysis, as well as keeping up to date on cost reporting changes and regulatory requirements. Preparation of both the annual and quarterly Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) reports Preparation of the Medi-Cal Waiver and Physician Spa P-14 workbooks. This would include managing data requirements surrounding the waiver, and being able to process patient data requests that are an integral part of the waiver and SPA reporting. Preparation of the AB915 Outpatient Medi-Cal, supplement reports. Monitor the Intern and Resident Information System (IRIS) reporting function, for the Medical Center’s medical education program. This would include assuring that intern and resident rotation data is accurately compiled by Medical Education, and entered into the IRIS system. Requirements
- Possess in-depth knowledge of federal and state regulations regarding both the Medicare and Medi-Cal Programs. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Demonstrated experience working with the Medicare and Medi-Cal programs, preferably through a fiscal intermediary, a consulting firm, or another academic Medical Center. - Working experience with the following programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, the HFS Cost Report Program, and Microsoft Access. - Effective problem solving skills and decision making. - Experience managing multiple projects and with varying deadlines. - Prefer experience working at/with Academic Medical Centers.
