Position Summary:
With a focus on critical issues facing Idaho and the nation, the director is responsible for:

To carry out these responsibilities, the director builds relationships with state and local policy makers, agency staff, elected officials, nonprofits, and other external stakeholders. Through these relationships, the director identifies policy issues of importance to Idaho and research opportunities for the center and the broader university. In this way, the McClure Center leverages both the university's expertise and the center's strategic location in Boise to respond to critical policy issues through research and outreach.
Faculty status will be considered with appropriate qualifications and within the policy guidelines of the appropriate department.

Willingness to travel to UI’s Moscow campus, statewide locations as needed, and periodic professional conferences.
